A positive story from ‘Logos’: Is there life during lockdown? (News in an easy-to-read format)

Yes! Our friendship, communication and good deeds are what help us!
We visit the ‘Logos’ charity in Chernihiv.
Like everyone else, we were in lockdown for a long time.
We felt very sad and lonely.
It’s good that we have the internet!
But face-to-face communication with friends is even better!
So we were absolutely delighted when the lockdown was eased in the summer and ‘Logos’ reopened!
We can meet up and chat with our friends again.
Together, we’re following all the safety rules.
We keep our distance, wear masks, wash our hands frequently and use hand sanitiser.
Together, we tidy the premises and maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Our temperatures are checked regularly.
We’re ready for this!
It’s for our health and so we can get together!
We’re in good spirits.
Together with our teachers, we have interesting lessons every day.
We hold cookery workshops.
We look after our flower beds and vegetable patch, and grow our own vitamins!
We spend a lot of time on our lovely grounds, out in the countryside.
We’re building up our resilience and doing sport.
We love dancing and singing songs.
It gives us strength and puts us in a great mood!
We believe that together we’ll get through the lockdown.
We wish everyone good health and new successes!
