How Gleb from Chernihiv coped with lockdown (An easy-to-read news article)

This is Gleb.

He is 27 years old.

Gleb has autism.

He lives with his mum

in the city of Chernihiv.

Gleb has a dog and a cat.

Before the lockdown, Gleb used to attend the ‘Logos’ Centre. He has friends there.

It’s the best place for Gleb.

During lockdown, Gleb missed his friends very much.

Gleb cannot speak. So he couldn’t talk to his friends on the phone or online.

During lockdown, Gleb stayed at home.

He helped his mum.

He went for walks with the dog.

He drew on the walls of his room.

And he was simply bored.

He learnt to wash his hands thoroughly and

put a mask on his face.

But I was really looking forward to seeing my friends.

Finally, that day arrived.

At the end of May, the lockdown restrictions were eased.

His friends were allowed to come to ‘Logos’.

We’re all together again.

Everyone is happy.
